CHAPTER 1

Once there was a ladybug named gerald. He was a very clumsy ladybug. He liked trees.

So, he went on a tree. But the tree fell down when he went to the top leaf. So gerald went to another tree.

That tree had snow on it. And the ladybug fell down and went to another tree. This tree was in the sunlight.

The ladybug liked the sunlight, so he went on the tree. Gerald was covered in snow and the snow melted. And then, that tree fell down.

So gerald fell down too. All he needed was a leaf for medicine from all that falling. But he ate too many leaves.

Gerald ate all of the leaves on the tree.

CHAPTER 2

Gerald got very sick, and he went to the doctor. He was too small to go to inside. So he went home and he tried not to get stepped on.

Gerald ate a dead pine leaf and felt much better. Then he met a friend named lily. She had a treehouse. The ladybug had a treehouse too but his was very dirty.

And then, lily left her treehouse, and the ladybug was surprised. And then gerald figured out what she was leaving for… vacation!!

CHAPTER 3

And then the ladybug’s house fell down along with the bee’s house. And on vacation, the bee got very sick and stung somebody.

And then she felt better, and the person got an ouchy with a hole in his arm.

CHAPTER 4

The bee went home from vacation and saw her house on the ground.

So she moved to a flower and she felt a person pick the flower. She went to a tree that didn’t fall down and she lived with the ladybug.

CHAPTER 5

Then the ladybug had to go off to work and the bee was all alone. So she played cards with her invisible friend.

That didn’t work. She was still lonely. And then she watched T.V. Even though she was not allowed to watch T.V.

And then they lived happily ever after. The moral of the story is, pick a tree that looks dead to you.
