Summer has arrived and neighbors and neighborhoods are taking advantage of the outdoors including our Minneapolis trails, beaches and parks. The Kenwood neighborhood continues to host free programming at East Cedar Lake Beach- yoga, African drumming, Shakespeare, Qigong and much more. The Out & About Books Bus made a stop in Kenwood and will be around the metro, including the Pride Festival in Loring Park, connecting children and families with LGBTQIA+ and gender affirming stories.

The Uptown Farmers Market kicked off at a new location on Hennepin and Girard and continues every Thursday, 4-8 pm through the summer. Live music and food.

The Uptown Art Fair is back and at a new location on Lake of the Isles and The Mall, August 7-9.
